Description
The nuns plight becomes performative and punitive in that faith acts as a catalyst to such a debilitating affliction and the spectacle that arises around it. The body and its viscera becomes a great emblem for fantastical possibilities that defies our basic logic, whilst playing to the taboo’s associated with religion and bodily functions.
