the D:screet 4061 Dpa is a low sensitivity, omnidirectional miniature microphone.
The d:screet™ 4061 is a « Lo-Sens » variant of the 4060: its sensitivity is less than 10dB, allowing it to handle sound pressure levels 10dB higher, or 144dB SPL before clipping – perfect for recording close to singers or loud instruments. Its linear and natural response respects the original personality of each sound source. The 4061 comes with « High Boost » and « Soft Boost » grids for modifying the frequency response, by more or less accentuation and targeted treble boost.
