Description
The artist is inspired by the fragility of the human being but also by the strength people have to go on. In this piece she was inspired by people she sometimes meets, waiting in vain for something or someone. She prefers working on wood instead of canvas because she puts many layers of texture, and paint, canvas would just not be strong enough to support the many sanding and scrubbing in between the layers.
