Painting from the series Watch with Mother. This series makes obvious reference to the artists career as a Set Designer for Television and explores her relationship with her mother whilst she was ill. The title is a reference to a book the artist read to her children when they were small, whilst warm and snug inside. It also suggests metaphorically difficult times ahead.
