This artwork was produced as part of a body of work that Hirst was commissioned to produce by NADFAS (Cavendish). The brief was to produce pieces that related to rarely seen environments in the Peak District, the work focuses on the time approaching sunset when the majority of walkers and tourists have retired for the day. This work is created from remembered elements of the landscape, portraying the sense of place rather than depicting any particular vista
