This intensely worked drawing offers a new angle to Cahills crowd scenes, in which he positions the viewer closer to the action in hope to create a greater sense of anxiety. The artist hopes that this cropped view of a crowd presents his interest in the act of coming together and interaction of individuals rather than the event that has drawn them together.
