Description
The colour, form and physicality of Geoff Diego Litherland’s work seeks to further augment the ideological discrepancies inherent in the found subject matter. The paintings emerge from dark, geometric backgrounds where painterly abstractions jostle with 3D forms to generate awkward compositions that aspire to enlighten yet offer little resolution. The composition and bold use of colour and geometric shapes are what set this series apart.
